H460 non-small cell lung cancer cells were exposed to the antitumor drug, etoposide. The image shows the H460 cells (in green) containing acidic autophagic vauoles (orange) that are extranuclear. The small bright green bodies are likely to be micronuclei. This image was originally submitted as part of the 2016 NCI Cancer Close Up project and selected for exhibit. |
