Title: | Diethylstilbestrol (DES) Cervix |
---|---|
Description: | An incomplete transverse septum (S) in the vagina of a 14-year-old DES-exposed girl. A cotton swab has been placed beyond the partial obstruction and is touching the cervix, which is difficult to see in this photograph. Using a very small speculum it was possible to identify and examine the cervix which was found to be structually normal but showed epithelial changes typically associated with DES exposure . |
